Being a member of the SGI Europe, in the past year, the MEA, through the MEAGreen Initiative has participated in Consultation sessions and provided feedback on:

• Position Paper on the REPowerEU Initiative published on 8 March on the security of supply, energy efficiency, the roll-out of renewable energy sources and more decarbonisation by electrification and by hydrogen.
• Position Paper on address social and labour aspect of the JUST Transition towards climate neutrality published 5 November 2021 to provide recommendations on the Just Green Transition.
• European Social Partners’ Project on Circular Economy and the Work of Work, Final Report published 14 October 2021
