The Malta Employers’ Association is organising an Information Session on: GDPR Compliance – New Regulation on Data Protection starting May 2018, on Thursday, 19 October 2017 at the Phoenicia Hotel, The Mall, Floriana.
General Data Protection Regulation requirements apply to each Member State of the European Union, aiming to create more consistent protection of consumer and personal data across EU Member States. In April 2016 the General Data Protection Regulations were adopted at EU level. The GDPR has to be enforced by the 25th May 2018. Companies that fail to achieve GDPR compliance before the deadline will be subject to stiff penalties and fines.
The aim of this information session is to update participants with the latest developments on GPDR and to inform them how to become compliant with the regulations by the 25th May 2018.
