Michaela Vassallo is a Bachelor of European Studies (hons.) with Communication Studies graduate, who is now reading a Bachelor’s degree in Law at the University of Malta. Michaela joined Malta Employers’ Association in November 2022 as a Projects Coordinator.
Michaela has always considered student activism as being imperative, and from a very young age she has always tried her utmost to be involved and informed. In fact, Michaela served as the Secretary General at Giovanni Curmi Higher Secondary School Student Council. She was also elected as the Public Relations Officer within the European Studies Organization at the University of Malta, in which after she was also elected as Secretary General and Vice President of the same Student Organization. She was also elected as Student Representative within the board of the Institute for European Studies. Michaela is now serving as the Secretary General of Malta’s National Youth Council (KNZ), after serving as the Youth Services Officer in the term 2021/2022.
Her role in the Malta Employers’ Association led her to have more hands-on experience, especially on how Projects and EU Funding work. With Michaela’s strong work ethic and a willingness to learn, she is eager to contribute to the ever success of this Association, and is eager to contribute and make a meaningful impact within the Malta Employers’ Association.
